Hey Kris,

I found both the chinese sausage(Lap Chong) and the lamb neck at my local asian market. A lot of butchers will also carry both, definately the lamb necks.

Good Luck and thanks!

This recipe sounds pretty easy but where do you get the lap chong and lamb necks? I was at the store this weekend and couldn't see anything that looked similar.

Thanks Lisa. Glad you liked the recipe. Once opened, you should eat the peppers within 3 or 4 days.

Hi Kris. My jars usually don't last longer than a couple of months (because the contents are eaten!). Unopened they should last three months. These are not processed in a canning processor - if so, they'd last for a year.

Hi Paul,
I just canned my first batch of peppers! I followed your recipe/tips, thanks so much. I served some in my burgers, they were a tasty hit! Once the jar is opened, how long will they last?

This recipe looks easy enough for even me to do! How long will these canned peppers last (i.e. shelf life)? Thanks.
